Sine İçli’s interview with Vogue Türkiye on her exhibition Jittering Maps
In this exhibition, various clay artworks and a series of paper drawings embody the concept of imaginary maps. These maps imply that pathways flow from one piece to another, prompting the imagination to explore the connections and routes. There’s an opportunity for both playfulness and unexpected ideas, showcasing elements of shadow and light, as well as the experience of digging deeper or soaring above. As an invitation to engage creatively, certain pieces should be mentally assembled by the viewer—existing only in their imagination. This is where the most profound challenges of exploration and recognition await us all.
